Design Phase Complete, Entering Build Phase

SINGAPORE, FEB. 20 – Tulsa-based aviation company, The NORDAM Group, has begun implementing SAP inter-enterprise software to enhance its IT infrastructure company-wide with collaborative business solutions. With the design phase complete, NORDAM moves to address project planning in the build phase.

NORDAM plans to utilize SAP solutions to create a universal information system, promoting increased operating efficiency through process standardization across the company's multiple divisions world-wide. The initiative to standardize NORDAM's information systems platform on SAP is aimed at providing stakeholders with the most consistent and accurate information possible. NORDAM expects the quality of information will improve customer service through more accurate estimations of turn-around times, completion dates and costs.

Project development is directed by a core team comprised of a dedicated group of management level stakeholders from every division. The core team is currently addressing the project plan and introduction of SAP solutions to other stakeholders. To facilitate rollout in each division, smaller peer teams will operate on-site to ease transition. SAP education and business preparation has already begun at NORDAM's U.S. based facilities. As scheduled, NORDAM will introduce SAP in its U.S.-based facilities before introducing the system to its plants in England, Wales and Singapore.
