NORDAM University (NU) is designed to support the development of our stakeholders. NU is your resource for diagnosing what kind of learning you need and the best method for learning that information. This development comes from a variety of methods including instructor-led learning sessions, partnerships with external vendors, online learning and self-study.
Learning and Development Categories
Aerospace Knowledge: Whether you have 20 years or 0 years of experience with the Aerospace industry, NORDAM provides training and development necessary to do your job. Stakeholders receive instructor-led and practical hands-on training in topics such as Blueprint Reading, Precision Measurement, Technical Math, Assembly and Bonding.
Interpersonal Skills: Regardless of what role you play at NORDAM, every stakeholder must possess skills to interact with other people including giving and receiving feedback, goal setting, and effective communication. NU offers various learning activities for all stakeholders and specialized activities for leadership.
Computer Skills: From the standard MS Office Products to more advanced Office applications, NU provides training in how to use a computer to maximize your efficiency and productivity. NORDAM has recently implement SAP and through a partnership with NORDAM IT, NU provides user-based training for stakeholders that use SAP.

Career Path Program: In today’s economy people want jobs that present opportunities for growth—not just a paycheck. NORDAM has introduced the Career Path Program which identifies the technical and interpersonal skills required to advance your career. Through the use of skills matrices, stakeholders are given a roadmap to advance in their current role or to move into a completely different role with the proper development. Career pathing is active for most production and maintenance job roles.
Education Assistance: As part of NORDAM’s continuing commitment to provide stakeholders with opportunities to learn and grow, an education assistance program has been established. This plan is designed to encourage and assist stakeholders in pursuit of long-term development through higher education that is either degree-seeking or job-related courses that are associated with NORDAM businesses.
